Skills Canada NWT is launching their Try-A-Trade® Program!
We're excited to launch our revamped Try-A-Trade® kits for the new school year!
Well, that summer certainly flew by quick!
We are thrilled to return to a traditional school year, which means we can connect with students and educators in new and exciting ways.
We are excited to announce that we are launching our online Try-A-Trade® program for educators and homeschool guardians throughout the Northwest Territories. Individuals can order different kits, which contain projects and activities for NWT youth to complete at their leisure.
Some of these kits allow participants to create:
Electronic walking mechanical dogs;
Birdhouses;
Robotics and programming solutions to climate change;
Wooden cabins..
.. and many more!
These kits teach the foundation and basic skills that are required in a multitude of trade and technology occupations - all while having fun.
