ABOUT THE EVENT
A number of exhibitors, many offering hands-on activities, will have booths at the Career Expo to share information about career opportunities in the Northwest Territories. Many of these activities will have hands-on, engaging activities or demonstrations in relation to trades and technology. Skills Canada NWT will provide an optional activity sheet for students to complete to encourage career-related discussions with exhibitors.

Feel free to bring giveaways, swag items, and whatever you'd like to decorate your booth!
WHAT TO EXPECT
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to see various skilled trades and technology careers in action including millwrights, carpenters, hairstylists, graphic designers, bakers, auto service technicians, electricians, and more. Your students will be able to see these skills in action as secondary and post-secondary students from throughout the NWT compete in about 20 contest areas.
The Career Expo is located in the gymnasiums of both Ecole St Patrick and Ecole Sir John Franklin high schools. The Competition is in the gyms, kitchens, and trade and technology centres of both high schools. There will be maps available at the door to guide visitors to all locations. Once you register, we will be in touch to confirm your location!
The Career Expo is open from 9:00AM-4:00PM, although contests will break for lunch between 12:00PM and 1:00PM.

You will receive an Exhibitor Guidelines document after yo register outlining the event agenda, expectations and more.
