This year's competition will be held on Thursday, April 17th, in Yellowknife at Sir John Franklin High School, Ecole St. Patrick High School,  the Kimberlite Career & Technical Centre and the Akaitcho Trades and Technical Centre. Closing ceremonies will be held at the Tree of Peace Friendship Centre.

Gold medalists may be eligible to join Team NWT to compete against their peers at the Canadian Skills Competition in Calgary, Alberta, from May 25-28, 2008.

Secondary students and post secondary students/apprentices from the Northwest Territories are invited to participate in the following contests (scopes are being added as they are available):
